427 tall deck chevy stroker motor - Price: 4800.00 for sale in Kenly, North Carolina

Base block was a high deck 427 truck 4 bolt mains. It is bored 60 over with a stroker steal crank. List of what is in this motor.

This motor my speed shop pulled apart after a man died that owned it. We knew nothing until now . Took motor apart to look. Knowing this motor had been ran but not knowing how much my speed shop had to say. After checking bearings, looking at high dome pistons he came to think it had a few runs around 20 at a guess. Another speed shop built this so we knew nothing without tear down. Put a few more goodies and what we think a better build and she is ready to run.Speed shop is rebuilding the dominator carb at this time. Carb goes with motor. Our guess on runs come from alittle carbon build up on pistons and bearing still looks new. The oil was still new with NOTHING in bottom of drain pan.After tear down and rebuild this should be a tested motor refreshed . Only tear down reason was to adinify what went into a unknown build . Have many more pics if needed. I have 2 sets of heads and 2 sets of headers that go with this sell . A good buy for a motor ready to run with set me back in the seat horse-power. I checked the spring pressure and all was between 178 to 195. The third spring on drivers side was at 168. Motor should be good around rpm turn. Block was filled at first build. I did my best to describe what I have as honest as possible. I have motor in race trailer if you wish to see it. This is a good looking motor with high dollar parts. All was torcked back at book specs for a chevy big block and all new gaskets. If intrested call Ronnie at 787-289- and have a blessed day................Taking a trip to pick up 2 ford 427 engines.
